The Congress will take place at Palau de Congressos Montjuïc (Fira Montjuïc).
Considered one of the world’s most iconic urban venues, Fira de Montjuïc is centrally located, easily accessible. It enjoys a privileged setting, inside Montjuïc park, which includes the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) and the Magic Fountains. Its halls were built in 1929 for the Barcelona Universal Exhibition and have been completely refurbished to combine tradition with an infrastructure suited to all kinds of events offering a large, versatile and central space. The historical venue is conveniently linked by public transport to both the downtown and the nearby El Prat International Airport (15 km). It has more than a dozen hotels within walking distance (less than 500 m) with a total capacity of more than 1.300 rooms and 15 hotels (over 900 rooms) within a ratio of 1 km (less than 5 min by taxi).
The Palau de Congressos (Congress Hall), a separate pavilion within the Fira de Montjuïc compound, has several levels including different size rooms, large exhibition hall area, and an Auditorium with a maximum capacity for 1.600 people.
